SuReLab members, Associate Professor Maria Doumi, Assistant Professor Iason-Nikolaos Koufodontis, Professor Emeritus Vasilis Angelis, and Assistant Professor Ioanna Pagoni, faculty member of the Department of Tourism Economics and Management, will be participating in the 3rd OPEN-AIRCITIES International Conference, entitled:

“Local and Regional Sustainable Development and Urban Reconstruction”.

Within the framework of the conference, they will hold scientific responsibility for and organisation of the special session titled:

“ISLANDS IN TRANSITION: INNOVATION, SUSTAINABILITY, TOURISM AND CLIMATE RESILIENCE”.

The session focuses on contemporary approaches to the transformation of island regions, addressing critical issues of innovation, sustainability, tourism development, and climate resilience.

The special session will take place:
