Members of the Sustainable and Resilient Regional and Tourism Development Laboratory (SuReLab) participated in the “Mediterranean Researchers’ Night – MEDNIGHT,” held at the Michaleio Building of the University Unit of Chios on 27 September 2024.
The Laboratory members, in collaboration with students of the Department of Tourism Economics and Management and the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Programme “Planning and Management of Tourism Destinations and Hospitality Enterprises,” presented their research project entitled “Exploring the Chios Element of Sustainable Tourism.” Through this presentation, they aimed to make scientific research in sustainable and resilient tourism development more visible, accessible, and engaging to the local community, and especially to young people, highlighting the work being conducted on the sustainable tourism development of Chios.
