Tην Τρίτη 17 Ιουνίου 2025 στις 15:00, τα μέλη του Εργαστηρίου Βιώσιμης και Ανθεκτικής Ανάπτυξης (SuRe Lab) On Tuesday, 17 June 2025 at 15:00, members of the Laboratory of Sustainable and Resilient Development (SuReLab), in collaboration with the research team of the MED-GIAHS project at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, will participate in a workshop within the framework of the programme MED-GIAHS – Mediterranean GIAHS Sites Network to Promote Sustainable Agricultural Tourism – Euro-MED0200584, MED GIAHS – Network of Mediterranean Countries of Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) for the Promotion of Sustainable Agricultural Tourism, and Work Package WP2 Knowledge Transfer Activities, D2.2.1 – Joint Training Plan.
A training session will be delivered to relevant local partners by the Italian partners (University of Florence), who are specialists in GIAHS sites and agricultural landscape management, covering the following topics:
- The GIAHS programme and the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) application process
- Assessment of GIAHS sites and marketing strategies
- Governance instruments for traditional agri-food systems and landscapes
The training is open to doctoral candidates, postgraduate, and undergraduate students of the Department of Tourism Economics and Management (TODiT).
